By using VocabTally, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Using VocabTally
VocabTally is a vocabulary and study tool. You are responsible for the words, notes, and other content you add to your account and for keeping your login information secure.
Accounts
You may need an account to sync vocabulary data, restore progress, access Pro features, and delete account data. You agree to provide accurate account information and to use the app lawfully.
Subscriptions
VocabTally Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under your App Store account settings. Pro access may include unlimited words, unlimited study, CSV import, advanced filters, and expanded category views. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and account deletion in VocabTally does not cancel an active App Store subscription.
Translations
Translations are provided to support study and may not always be perfect. You should review translations before relying on them in important contexts.
Language Resources and Attribution
VocabTally uses generated language lookup resources to support vocabulary categorisation. English part-of-speech lookup data is derived from Open English WordNet, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Spanish part-of-speech lookup data is derived from Spanish WordNet / MCR 3.0 via Open Multilingual Wordnet, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License. These resources were transformed into compact word-to-part-of-speech lookup files for VocabTally.

Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt the service, or access another user's data.
- Do not add unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Do not reverse engineer or copy VocabTally except where allowed by law.
App Store Terms
If you downloaded VocabTally from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies in addition to these terms where relevant.
Changes and Availability
We may update VocabTally or these terms over time. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, or technical issues.
